How it all began...
Having always had a passion for sport, our founder Jack has been motivated to push his limits to raise money and awareness for The Brain Tumour Charity following his Mother’s Stage 4 Glioblastoma diagnosis in 2018 and most recently, with his friend Kai being diagnosed with a Stage 2 Oligodendroglioma.
After training tirelessly for his first Ironman 70.3 race at the European Championships in Elsinore, Denmark in 2022, Jack became a victim to cramp, disrupting his performance and sabotaging his target finish time.
Frustrated with the result, Jack spent his time investigating into the bottomless pit that is sports nutrition. After using the ‘best’ fuel on the market, testing different amounts of carbs and electrolytes, the result was still the same and the annoyance of cramp became a regular thing.
With Ironman 70.3 Tasmania 2023 on his schedule, Jack decided to take matters into his own hands and create a unique formula that targets cramp. After some adaptations upon testing in training, Jack had this concoction ready for the race.
Inevitably, cramp started to settle in at the start of the run, so Jack consumed his creation and almost instantaneously, a miracle happened. Like a sudden lightning strike, Jack’s cramp disappeared and with a fresh set of legs Jack smashed his target with an 11 minute PB on the run alone.
After much deliberation, Jack decided that it wasn’t fair to keep his formula secret and Cramp Killa was formed, a formula tastier and more effective than ever before, available to those who want to smash their PB’s without having to worry about cramp.
