The Cramp Killa Story
Born from Frustration,
Built for Performance
Every endurance athlete knows the feeling: the sudden, race-ruining seize of a muscle.
"I tried every remedy on the market.
Nothing worked."
For our founder Jack, crippling leg cramps were a constant companion across training sessions and race days, no matter how perfectly he hydrated or fuelled. He tried every remedy on the market - and still his legs kept betraying him.
Ironman 70.3 - Elsinore, Denmark 2022
Chapter 01
The Breaking Point
In 2022, Jack raced the Ironman 70.3 in Elsinore, Denmark. He was prepared, fuelled, and ready for a strong sprint finish. Instead, just 3km into the run, his quads completely seized up. He stumbled across the finish line and collapsed - relieved to be done, but absolutely gutted. He knew there was a faster race in him if his legs hadn't betrayed him.
Ironman 70.3 - Tasmania 2023
Chapter 02
Crafting a Solution
Jack wanted vengeance for the 2023 Ironman 70.3 in Tasmania. After exhausting every available product with zero success, he dug into the research and created his own anti-cramp concoction. It wasn't pleasant on the palate, but he packed it for race day anyway.
Right on cue, as Jack started the run, the cramps flared up exactly as they had in Denmark. He panicked, downed his makeshift potion, and the results were instantaneous. His quads stopped cramping, his legs were revived, and he finally got that sprint finish - shaving 11 minutes off the run time alone.
Perfecting the Formula
Jack knew he couldn't race without it again, but he also knew it needed to taste better. He partnered with an expert formulation team, spending 18 intensive months refining the recipe. The result? Cramp Killa - a delicious, easily consumable gel designed to reverse cramps in their tracks so you can keep pushing your limits.
18 months of R&D
From makeshift potion to perfect gel
Working with an expert formulation team, Jack tested, refined and refined again - balancing efficacy with palatability until every element was exactly right. The result is a product he's proud to put his name on, and one athletes are proud to fuel with.
The finished product
The people who inspire every mile
While finishing any race is tough, it doesn't even come close to the resilience shown by his mother, Michelle, following her Stage 4 Glioblastoma diagnosis in 2018 and his friend Kai, who is battling a Stage 2 Oligodendroglioma.
Brain tumours have had a devastating impact on all of their lives, yet they continue to battle through, make the most of every day, and defy the odds. Their fortitude is the true inspiration behind every endurance challenge we take on.
It's also why our ambassador, Archie Goodburn, means so much to us. A GB swimmer competing at the highest level while fighting three inoperable brain tumours - his resilience is extraordinary, and his story deserves to be heard.
